About Thomas W. Martin
Tom has been an experienced criminal defense attorney licensed in Colorado since 2001. He founded the firm in 2004 to provide focused, client-centered representation in Northern Colorado.
With over 20 years of experience and more than 1,000 cases handled, Tom has extensive trial experience across a wide range of criminal offenses, including DUI and DWAI, domestic violence, drug crimes, property crimes, and juvenile cases.
Tom’s personal journey reflects resilience and a commitment to his community. Growing up in New York City, he moved to Fort Collins and chose to build his own practice when employment opportunities were limited, believing, “If there were no jobs for me, then I would just make my own.”
This philosophy shapes the firm’s culture: we combine aggressive, rights-based legal advocacy with a practical, problem-solving approach tailored to each client. Tom’s connection to Fort Collins and the Northern Colorado community allows him to provide informed, local representation.
